About me

Aleix pictureTeam Topologies Advocate

I have been in the software industry for more than 10 years. I have worked in diverse domains such as social networks, e-commerce, fintech, dev tools, and company productivity.

I worked in startups like AtomicJar (acquired by Docker), big enterprise as a software consultant at ThoughtWorks, as well Scaleups as Head of Engineering at Creditas. Right now, I work as CPO at Teamperature, a Team Topologies product to assess Team Cognitive Load for healthier teams, a product out of my experience in Engineering Leadership.

As part of his engineering leadership journey, I focused on sharing my learnings on Engineering Strategy in my blog, learnings.aleixmorgadas.dev, and how I want to keep helping engineering leaders to impact their organizations through engineering strategy training.

Aleix Morgadas, Principal Engineering Strategy Consultant

Why am I doing this?

I believe Engineering Strategy can help tech leaders to navigate their complexities with less pain. That's why I want to help people and organizations to have a conscious engineering leadership with a seat in the table to influence their organizations from an engineering point of view.

Strategy cannot be outsourced

I strongly believe that strategy cannot be outsourced, and a better approach is to grow the strategic skills internally.

Having the right strategic skills within a company can unblock key initatives, have bigger impact, and all of that is possible with the internal know how of your company, your product, your industry, and your end customer.

It is a lonely journey

Engineering Leadership is hard, and often a lonely journey. It shouldn't be this way.

Be part of a like-minded people with the same pains and challenges as you helps us all to understand that we're not alone.

Sharing our experiences with burnout, impostor syndome, and feeling that, regardless how hard we push, we cannot achieve our goals, can help us to re-connect with the reality, and build more resiliency to keep leading with our best intentions.
